Terms of Use

User: whoever creates an account on the platform. Platform / Pínax: the deck creation and presentation service operated by PÍNAX. Deck: the presentation created. BYOK key: the User’s own AI key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) connected by them. Generated Content: material produced with AI assistance. Founder: participant in the promotional programme for the first 1,000. Ambassador: participant in the referral programme.

Pínax offers two modes: WITHOUT-AI (built-in structured generation, free and unlimited) and WITH-AI (generation through the User’s own key or agent). The platform takes care of narrative, brand, validation and presentation; it exports to PDF, PPTX, DOCX and the .pnx package.

By connecting an AI key or agent, the User remains a customer of the chosen provider: Pínax is not responsible for that provider’s terms, availability, pricing or output quality, and the User is responsible for complying with the provider’s terms. The key is encrypted, revocable at any time, and never resold.

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. The User is responsible for reviewing it before using it in real presentations and decisions. Pínax is not responsible for business decisions taken on the basis of Generated Content.

The User keeps ownership of what they create. Pínax receives a limited licence to host, process and render the content, strictly in order to provide the service. On account deletion, content is erased as described in the Privacy Policy, with legal retentions preserved.

By attaching documents containing personal data of third parties — for example reports with the User’s own clients’ data — the User declares they hold an adequate legal basis and authorisation to submit them, and is solely responsible towards those third parties. In that relationship the User acts as controller and Pínax as processor, handling data under their instruction.

The Pro plan is billed on a recurring basis, monthly or annual, cancellable at any time with effect at the end of the cycle. Distance purchases in Brazil carry a 7-day right of withdrawal (Art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code) with a full refund. Price changes are announced in advance. Non-payment limits premium actions while preserving read access to your content.

A promotional and discretionary benefit for the first 1,000 sign-ups: a permanent badge, one month of Pro, the features existing at the time of joining for life, and early access to what is new. The programme may be adjusted or ended with reasonable notice, without retroactive effect on benefits already enjoyed.

Commissions as per the conditions published at the time of joining; clawback in case of proven fraud; the Ambassador is responsible for their own tax obligations — the programme does not create an employment relationship.

Prohibited: illegal content; hate speech; child exploitation material (zero tolerance, immediate removal and reporting); infringement of third-party intellectual property; reverse engineering of the platform; circumventing the free tier limits, for instance with multiple accounts; unauthorised resale of access.

The brand, the engine, the default templates and the doctrine belong to PÍNAX. Templates published by Users into shared spaces grant a licence to display and distribute them on the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Pínax is limited to the amount paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the event, excluding indirect damages and lost profits; a force majeure clause applies.

The User may close their account at any time. Pínax may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, with notice where possible — except in cases of serious risk or abuse, which justify immediate action.

Material changes are communicated and require a new acceptance before use continues — never a silent update. The history of accepted versions is available in your privacy panel.

Brazilian law applies. The courts of the district of Fortaleza, Ceará, are elected for users in Brazil; for international users, specific provisions may be set out in the reviewed final version.
